Last day by the sea

It’s a big change going from the Mediterranean sea to the northern alps. Both the climate and the food is different.

Arma di Taggia is known for the “Olive Taggiasche”. Before going to see the final of the Barrel on the Beach we had a big lunch. The final race is about winning money or a Fiat car. They add the two best times out of three races.

You can find a lot of good seafood in the city, as well as very tasty pizza. My friends that came from Turin and London ordered seafood immediately.

We had planned to stay by the sea a bit longer, but in the end we went back home. It will be raining for a week, so it’s better to stay at home… May is usually a rainy month in Piedmont.
